The Linea clinic is a swivel castor with central, total lock, specifically engineered for demanding healthcare environments including anesthesia carts, C-arms, CT scanners, MRI systems, X-ray equipment, computers on wheels, dialysis carts, hospital beds, medication carts, nursing and retirement homes, nursing carts, stretchers, ultrasound systems, and ventilators. The fitting comprises a stem with cam hole for profile bars in short version, with the important specification that washable beds must be sealed in the fitting area by the hospital bed manufacturer to ensure optimal performance and hygiene compliance. The housing is constructed from polyamide material and features a precision ball bearing for the swivel mechanism, ensuring smooth rotation and reliable operation under continuous use. The wheel assembly incorporates a 125 mm diameter design with an injected polyurethane tread mounted on a polyamide body, supported by a precision stainless steel ball bearing that provides durability and corrosion resistance in clinical settings. The overall height of the castor measures 150 mm, providing appropriate ground clearance for standard hospital equipment. The load capacity specifications indicate a static load rating of 300 kg, whilst the dynamic load capacity is rated at 150 kg at 4 km/h or alternatively 150 kg at 3 km/h, allowing flexibility depending on operational speed requirements and ensuring safe performance across various clinical applications and mobility demands.
