The castor features a stem with grip ring and collar fitting, which provides secure and reliable attachment to various furniture bases. The housing is constructed from polypropylene and incorporates a stem swiveling mechanism that enables smooth 360-degree rotation, allowing for effortless manoeuvrability in confined spaces and around obstacles. The wheel assembly comprises a 50 mm diameter wheel with a thermoplastic rubber tread material, which delivers excellent grip and durability whilst protecting floor surfaces from damage. The wheel is supported by a plain bearing with spacer tube, ensuring smooth rolling motion and extended operational life. The overall height of the castor measures 54 mm, making it suitable for low-profile furniture applications where space is constrained. The castor is rated for a static load capacity of 80 kg, providing substantial support for stationary applications, whilst the dynamic load capacity is specified at 40 kg when moving at speeds up to 3 km/h.
