The Kappa load is a swivel castor with directional lock designed for demanding industrial applications. It features a medium rectangular plate fitting that provides secure mounting to equipment. The housing is constructed from iron forged, heavy material and incorporates a deep-groove ball thrust roller bearing swivel mechanism for smooth directional changes and reliable locking functionality. The wheel assembly consists of an aluminium body fitted with an elastic tyre, non-marking, vulcanised tread that ensures floor protection whilst maintaining excellent grip. The wheel operates on a precision ball bearing system and measures 200mm in diameter. The castor has an overall height of 245mm, making it suitable for various equipment configurations. Load specifications include a dynamic capacity of 450kg at speeds up to 4km/h and a static load capacity of 900kg, making it ideal for airport equipment, AMR systems, automotive OEM applications, ceramic and glass manufacturers, production and platform trolleys, and AGV systems.
