The Compacta swivel castor features a rectangular plate fitting for secure mounting to various surfaces. The housing is constructed from light steel sheet and incorporates a one ball race swivel bearing system for smooth directional movement. The wheel comprises a polyamide body with tread material identical to the wheel body, ensuring consistent performance characteristics, whilst the plain bearing with spacer tube provides reliable rotation with minimal maintenance requirements. With a wheel diameter of 45mm, the castor achieves an overall height of 54mm, making it suitable for compact applications where space is limited. The unit offers a dynamic load capacity of 40kg at speeds up to 3km/h and a static load capacity of 80kg, making it ideal for tool cabinets, work benches, and transport equipment where moderate load handling and manoeuvrability are essential requirements.
