The Integral twin swivel castor is a precision-engineered mobility solution designed for demanding healthcare environments, featuring a solid stem, round fitting type that requires sealing in the fitting area by the hospital bed manufacturer to ensure washability compliance. The housing is constructed from medium steel sheet and incorporates a precision ball bearing for smooth swivel operation, providing reliable rotational performance in high-frequency use applications. The wheel assembly comprises a 125 mm diameter polyurethane tread with injected, electric-conductive properties mounted on a polyamide body, supported by a sealed precision ball bearing that ensures durability and low maintenance in sterile medical settings. The overall height of the castor measures 150 mm, providing optimal clearance and manoeuvrability for integration into medical equipment platforms. This castor delivers a static load capacity of 375 kg, whilst the dynamic load capacity reaches 125 kg at speeds up to 4 km/h and 125 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h, accommodating the demanding requirements of anesthesia carts, C-arms, CT scanners, MRI systems, X-ray equipment, care beds, hospital beds, nursing and retirement home furniture, surgery robots, surgery tables, and ultrasound systems. The electric-conductive tread material provides enhanced safety in electrosensitive environments, making this castor particularly suitable for operating theatres and critical care facilities where static dissipation is essential.
