Data sheets
The Kappa flex is a fixed castor engineered for demanding industrial applications, featuring a medium rectangular plate fitting that ensures secure and stable mounting to equipment and machinery. The housing is constructed from heavy forged iron, providing exceptional durability and resistance to impact and wear in challenging operational environments. The wheel assembly comprises a 200 mm diameter wheel with a polyurethane casted tread that delivers reliable grip and smooth rolling performance across various floor surfaces, whilst the wheel body is manufactured from aluminium to optimise the balance between strength and weight. The wheel is equipped with a precision ball bearing that facilitates smooth rotation and minimises friction during operation. The overall height of the castor is 260 mm, which should be considered during installation and integration into your equipment design. The castor demonstrates impressive load-bearing capabilities, with a static load capacity of 900 kg, ensuring stability when the equipment remains stationary. For dynamic applications, the castor supports a load capacity of 300 kg at speeds up to 6 km/h, or alternatively 450 kg at reduced speeds of 4 km/h, allowing flexibility in selecting the appropriate operating parameters based on your specific application requirements. These specifications make the Kappa flex an ideal solution for heavy-duty industrial castors where reliability and performance are paramount.
