The Alpha stainless swivel castor is a heavy-duty mobility solution engineered for demanding industrial and commercial applications. This castor features a bolt hole fitting type, ensuring secure and straightforward installation on a variety of equipment and structures. The housing is constructed from heavy-duty stainless steel, providing exceptional corrosion resistance and durability in challenging environments including catering carts and meal delivery systems, container construction, electronic systems and clean-room technology, fire fighting technology and fire protection, machine construction, and transport equipment. The swivel mechanism incorporates two ball races, enabling smooth 360-degree rotation and reliable manoeuvrability. The wheel assembly comprises a 100 mm diameter wheel with an aluminium body and a damping, heat-resistant tread material, which effectively absorbs shock and vibration whilst maintaining performance across varying temperature conditions. The wheel is supported by a dry bearing bush, ensuring low-maintenance operation and consistent performance. The overall height of the castor is 128 mm, making it suitable for integration into compact and space-constrained applications. The castor delivers a static load capacity of 160 kg, accommodating substantial weight loads during stationary operation, whilst the dynamic load capacity reaches 80 kg at speeds up to 4 km/h, ensuring safe and controlled movement of loaded equipment.
