The housing is constructed from medium steel sheet with a precision ball bearing for smooth swivel operation, providing reliable manoeuvrability in high-use clinical settings. The wheel assembly comprises a 150 mm diameter polyurethane tread with injected, electric-conductive properties mounted on a polyamide body, supported by a precision ball bearing that is sealed to protect against contamination and ensure longevity in sterilised environments. The overall height of the castor is 175 mm, making it suitable for integration into various medical equipment platforms.
