The Alpha is a swivel castor with total lock, designed for demanding industrial applications and equipped with a small rectangular plate fitting for secure mounting onto equipment and machinery. The housing is constructed from heavy steel sheet and incorporates two ball races within the swivel bearing assembly, ensuring smooth rotation and reliable directional control. The wheel features a 125 mm diameter and is mounted on a roller bearing, with a polyamide tread material that provides excellent wear resistance and durability across various floor surfaces. The wheel body is manufactured from a damping, hybrid material that effectively absorbs vibrations and reduces noise during operation, making it particularly suitable for sensitive environments. With an overall height of 155 mm, the castor offers a compact profile whilst maintaining substantial load-bearing capacity. The static load capacity reaches 400 kg, whilst the dynamic load capacity is rated at 200 kg when operating at speeds up to 4 km/h, making this castor suitable for both stationary and mobile applications.
