The Alpha swivel castor is a robust industrial mobility solution engineered for demanding applications across automotive original equipment manufacturing, catering carts and meal delivery systems, container construction, electronic systems and clean-room technology, fire fighting technology and fire protection, machine construction, post logistic systems, production and platform trolleys, roll cages, tool cabinets, transport equipment, waste disposal equipment, and work benches. The castor is fitted with a small rectangular plate that provides secure mounting to equipment and structures. The housing is constructed from heavy steel sheet, ensuring exceptional durability and structural integrity, and incorporates two ball races within the swivel bearing mechanism to enable smooth omnidirectional movement and reliable performance under continuous operational demands. The wheel features a 100 millimetre diameter and is manufactured from plastic thermoset material that is heat-resistant, with the tread material being identical to the wheel body for consistent wear characteristics and longevity. The overall height of the assembled castor is 128 millimetres, providing a compact profile suitable for integration into various equipment designs. The wheel is supported by a dry bearing bush that minimises maintenance requirements whilst delivering dependable rotational performance. The castor demonstrates impressive load-bearing capabilities, with a static load capacity of 250 kilograms and a dynamic load capacity of 125 kilograms at speeds up to 4 kilometres per hour, making it suitable for both stationary and mobile applications requiring reliable performance and extended service life.
