The Alpha swivel castor is a heavy-duty mobility solution engineered for demanding industrial and commercial applications. This swivel castor is fitted with a medium rectangular plate, providing secure and versatile mounting options across a wide range of equipment and systems. The housing is constructed from heavy steel sheet, incorporating two ball races within the swivel bearing assembly to ensure smooth rotational movement and extended operational longevity. The wheel features a 200 mm diameter design with a pneumatic tyre incorporating a line profile tread pattern, mounted on a sheet steel body and supported by a roller bearing for reliable load distribution and smooth rolling performance. The overall height of the castor measures 240 mm, providing appropriate ground clearance for standard industrial applications. The Alpha swivel castor is rated for a static load capacity of 150 kg, whilst maintaining a dynamic load capacity of 75 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h, making it suitable for both stationary and mobile applications.
