Extra heavy duty polyamide castors are the choice when peak load capacity and dimensional stability matter more than floor care or low noise. Polyamide wheels withstand very high loads and provide a hard, precise running surface, but expect higher surface pressure and louder operation than with softer materials. Generally speaking, castors with polyamide wheels are recommended for indoor use. While ones with polyurethane wheels are all-round talents, capable of handling indoor and outdoor use.
