The Alpha swivel castor is a robust industrial mobility solution designed for demanding applications across automotive, catering, logistics, and manufacturing sectors. This swivel castor is fitted with a small rectangular plate that provides secure attachment to equipment and trolleys. The housing is constructed from heavy steel sheet and incorporates two ball races within the swivel bearing assembly, ensuring smooth rotation and reliable performance under continuous operational demands. The wheel features a 100 mm diameter and is manufactured from plastic thermoset material that offers excellent heat resistance, with the tread material being identical to the wheel body for consistent wear characteristics and durability. The dry bearing bush provides low-friction wheel rotation whilst maintaining structural integrity throughout the castor's operational life. With an overall height of 128 mm, this castor is engineered to integrate seamlessly into platform trolleys, roll cages, tool cabinets, transport equipment, waste disposal systems, and specialised applications including fire fighting technology and clean-room electronic systems. The load capacity specifications are rated at 250 kg static load and 125 kg dynamic load at 4 km/h, making it suitable for both stationary and mobile applications where reliable performance and durability are essential requirements.
