The Alpha swivel castor is a robust industrial mobility solution engineered for demanding applications across automotive original equipment manufacturing, catering carts and meal delivery systems, container construction, electronic systems and clean-room technology, fire fighting technology and fire protection, machine construction, post logistic systems, production and platform trolleys, roll cages, tool cabinets, transport equipment, waste disposal equipment, and work benches. The castor is fitted with a small rectangular plate that provides secure mounting to the host equipment. The housing is constructed from heavy steel sheet and incorporates two ball races within the swivel bearing assembly, ensuring smooth rotational movement and reliable directional control under operational conditions. The wheel features a 100 mm diameter and is manufactured from plastic thermoset material that is heat-resistant, with the tread material being identical to the wheel body for consistent wear characteristics and durability. The overall height of the assembled castor measures 128 mm, providing a compact profile suitable for integration into various equipment designs. The castor demonstrates a static load capacity of 250 kg, enabling it to support substantial stationary loads, whilst the dynamic load capacity reaches 125 kg when operating at speeds up to 4 km/h. The wheel is equipped with a dry bearing bush that minimises maintenance requirements whilst delivering reliable performance throughout the castor's operational lifespan.
