The Linea clinic is a swivel castor with central, total lock designed for demanding healthcare environments including hospital beds, anesthesia carts, medication carts, nursing carts, dialysis carts, stretchers, and various medical imaging equipment such as C-Arms, CT scanners, MRI systems, and X-ray machines, as well as computers on wheels and ventilators in hospitals and nursing and retirement homes. The fitting comprises a stem with cam hole for profile bars in short version, with the important caveat that washable beds must be sealed in the fitting area by the hospital bed manufacturer to ensure proper functionality and hygiene standards. The housing is constructed from polyamide material and incorporates a precision ball bearing for smooth swivel operation, ensuring reliable performance under continuous use in clinical settings. The wheel features a 150 mm diameter with an injected polyurethane tread mounted on a polyamide body, supported by a precision stainless steel ball bearing that provides durability and corrosion resistance essential for healthcare applications where frequent cleaning and sterilisation are required. The overall height of the castor is 155 mm, providing appropriate ground clearance for standard medical equipment and furniture. The load capacity specifications indicate a static load rating of 300 kg, whilst the dynamic load capacity is rated at 150 kg at 4 km/h or alternatively 150 kg at 3 km/h, allowing flexibility depending on operational speed requirements and ensuring safe performance across diverse clinical mobility applications.
