The Linea clinic is a swivel castor with central, total lock, specifically engineered for demanding healthcare environments including hospital beds, anesthesia carts, medication carts, nursing carts, dialysis carts, stretchers, and various medical imaging equipment such as C-Arms, CT scanners, MRI systems, and X-ray machines, as well as computers on wheels and ventilators in hospitals and nursing facilities. The fitting comprises a stem with cam hole for profile bars in short version, with the important caveat that washable beds must be sealed in the fitting area by the hospital bed manufacturer to ensure hygiene and durability. The housing is constructed from polyamide material and incorporates a precision ball bearing for the swivel mechanism, ensuring smooth rotation and reliable performance under continuous use. The wheel features a 125 mm diameter and is equipped with a precision ball bearing in stainless steel, whilst the tread is manufactured from injected polyurethane with electric-conductive properties to prevent static build-up in sensitive medical environments. The wheel body is also constructed from polyamide for optimal durability and chemical resistance. The overall height of the castor assembly measures 130 mm, providing appropriate ground clearance for standard medical equipment. The load capacity specifications indicate a static load rating of 450 kg, whilst the dynamic load capacity reaches 150 kg at speeds up to 4 km/h and 150 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h, ensuring safe operation across a wide range of clinical applications and mobility requirements.
