The Linea clinic is a swivel castor with central, total lock designed for demanding healthcare environments including anesthesia carts, C-arms, CT scanners, MRI and X-ray equipment, computers on wheels, dialysis carts, hospital beds, medication carts, nursing and retirement homes, nursing carts, stretchers, ultrasound systems, and ventilators. The fitting comprises a stem with cam hole for profile bars in short version, with the important caveat that washable beds must be sealed in the fitting area by the hospital bed manufacturer to ensure proper hygiene and functionality. The housing is manufactured from polyamide and features an integrated cable catcher constructed from polyethylene, whilst the swivel bearing utilises a precision ball bearing to enable smooth rotational movement and directional control. The wheel assembly incorporates a 150 mm diameter wheel with a polyamide body and injected polyurethane tread, supported by a precision stainless steel ball bearing that ensures reliable performance and longevity in clinical settings. The overall height of the castor measures 155 mm, providing appropriate ground clearance for standard medical equipment applications. The load capacity specifications indicate a static load rating of 300 kg, whilst the dynamic load capacity reaches 150 kg at 4 km/h and 150 kg at 3 km/h, ensuring safe operation across a wide range of medical devices and equipment commonly encountered in hospital and clinical environments.
