The housing is constructed from very heavy steel sheet and incorporates a robust swivel bearing system utilising two ball races, available in either reinforced or stainless steel configurations for enhanced durability. The wheel assembly comprises a cast iron body with precision ball bearing for smooth operation, fitted with a casted polyurethane tread providing excellent floor protection and noise reduction. The wheel diameter measures 160 mm with an overall height of 200 mm. Load specifications include a static capacity of 1600 kg, whilst dynamic load ratings are 800 kg at 4 km/h operating speed and 640 kg at 6 km/h, making this castor suitable for demanding industrial applications requiring reliable mobility under substantial loads.
