The Linea clinic is a swivel castor with central, total or directional lock, designed for demanding healthcare environments including hospital beds, anesthesia carts, medication carts, nursing carts, dialysis carts, stretchers, and various medical imaging equipment such as C-Arms, CT scanners, MRI and X-Ray systems, as well as computers on wheels and ventilators in hospitals and nursing facilities. The castor features a stem with cam hole for profile bars in short version, with the important caveat that washable beds must be sealed in the fitting area by the hospital bed manufacturer to ensure optimal performance and hygiene compliance. The housing is constructed from polyamide material and incorporates a precision ball bearing for smooth swivel operation, ensuring reliable manoeuvrability in clinical settings. The wheel assembly comprises a 125 mm diameter wheel with a polyamide body, fitted with a precision ball bearing in stainless steel, and features a polyurethane injected tread with electric-conductive properties to safely dissipate static charges in sensitive medical environments. The overall height of the castor is 130 mm, providing appropriate ground clearance for standard medical equipment applications. The load capacity specifications indicate a static load rating of 450 kg, whilst the dynamic load capacity is rated at 150 kg at 4 km/h and 150 kg at 3 km/h, ensuring safe operation across a wide range of clinical mobility requirements and equipment weights.
