We have been developing solutions for castors in many different variants and designs for more than 90 years. In addition to functionality, the design and aesthetics are often an important criterion for castors. Especially in the case of furniture, a good appearance may be a decisive reason for the end user to purchase the castor. TENTE castors have already won several design awards. Their appearance can also be customised, with a logo and a wide range of colours, for example.
3. Safety
The safety features of TENTE solutions protect people, products and applications. They range from a low overall height and dead-man brakes through to active braking aids, such as the Linea e-lock, and cable guards. These developments reduce the risk of injury, ensure proper functioning and protect electrical components.
4. Durability
A long service life is an important quality feature for castors. They are usually exposed to a wide range of environmental influences or chemical substances. Abrasion and corrosion resistant castors withstand this exposure even in permanent use. Hygiene is of great importance in hospitals and in conjunction with foodstuffs. Washable castors can be easily cleaned and kept in use for a long time. Other solutions for better durability include heat-resistant castors and heavy-duty castors.
5. Sustainability
The development of resource-conserving and sustainable solutions is gaining momentum – and TENTE is not hanging back here either, of course. Responsible work using environmentally friendly and recyclable materials is something that distinguishes us. Sustainable solutions from TENTE save energy and reduce pollution, for example. We always follow European directives such as RoHS and REACH.
