Roll containers can be found in many places. Whether in the home office within your own four walls, in your office at work, in the first-aid room at the airport, or in the shopping centre – this practical storage furniture is extremely versatile. To ensure that it can be moved easily and also secured in one place, the right castors must be used. Swivel castors with brakes are the ideal solution. The castors give the roll container its manoeuvrability; thanks to the locking mechanism it stops safely in the desired position.

Particularly reliable castors for roll containers in the fire service

Roll containers are also used by the fire brigade to transport their equipment. When firefighters are called out, things have to move fast, but at the same time have to be absolutely secure. The castors on the roll containers must therefore be easy to move and to lock in place, even with heavy loads. We have developed an innovative solution for this purpose: TENTE 349D. These fixed castors with a dynamic load capacity of up to 350 kg are equipped with an automatic locking system. This means that the brake is always active and the castor is always locked. The container can only be moved when the handle is operated manually to release the brake. If the container threatens to roll away, the firefighters can simply let go of the handle and the locking system immediately takes effect again.
