The castor is fitted with a medium rectangular plate that provides secure attachment to host equipment. The housing is constructed from very heavy steel sheet and incorporates two ball races that are either reinforced or stainless, ensuring robust performance and extended service life in challenging environments. The wheel features a 250 mm diameter and is mounted on precision ball bearings for smooth, reliable rotation. The wheel tread comprises an elastic, non-marking, vulcanised material bonded to an aluminium body, delivering excellent grip whilst protecting floor surfaces from marking or damage. The overall height of the castor assembly is 290 mm, accommodating standard platform and trolley configurations.
