The Zeta swivel castor with directional lock is engineered for demanding industrial applications including airport equipment, automotive OEM, production and platform trolleys, and transport equipment. The castor is fitted with a medium rectangular plate that provides secure attachment to mobile equipment and trolley bases. The housing is constructed from very heavy steel sheet and incorporates two ball races, reinforced or stainless, which ensure smooth swivel operation and enhanced durability under continuous use. The wheel features a 200 mm diameter and is mounted on precision ball bearings, whilst the tread is manufactured from PUR casted premium material to deliver superior grip, wear resistance, and load distribution. The wheel body is constructed from aluminium, combining lightweight properties with structural integrity. The overall height of the castor assembly is 240 mm, accommodating standard platform and trolley configurations. The castor demonstrates exceptional load-bearing capability, with a static load capacity of 1600 kg, whilst the dynamic load capacity reaches 640 kg at 6 km/h or 800 kg at 4 km/h, depending on operational speed requirements.
