The Zeta swivel castor with directional lock is a heavy-duty mobility solution engineered for demanding industrial applications including airport equipment, automotive original equipment manufacturing, production and platform trolleys, and transport equipment. The castor is fitted with a medium rectangular plate that provides secure and stable mounting to host equipment. The housing is constructed from very heavy steel sheet and incorporates two ball races, reinforced or stainless, within the swivel bearing assembly to ensure smooth rotational movement and extended operational life. The wheel features a 250 mm diameter and is manufactured from polyamide, with the tread material being identical to the wheel body to guarantee consistent wear characteristics and reliable performance. The precision ball bearing integrated within the wheel assembly delivers smooth rolling motion and reduces friction during operation. The overall height of the castor assembly measures 290 mm, providing appropriate ground clearance for most industrial applications. The load capacity specifications are as follows: the static load capacity reaches 1600 kg, whilst the dynamic load capacity is rated at 640 kg when operating at 6 km/h or 800 kg when operating at 4 km/h, allowing engineers to select appropriate operational parameters based on specific application requirements and load conditions.
