The Alpha swivel castor is a robust industrial fastening solution designed for demanding applications across automotive, catering, logistics, and manufacturing sectors. The castor is fitted with a small rectangular plate that provides secure mounting to equipment and trolleys. The housing is constructed from heavy steel sheet and incorporates two ball races within the swivel bearing assembly, ensuring smooth rotational movement and extended operational life. The wheel features a 100 mm diameter and is manufactured from plastic thermoset material that offers excellent heat resistance, with the tread material being identical to the wheel body for consistent performance and durability. The overall height of the castor assembly measures 128 mm, making it suitable for integration into various platform trolleys, roll cages, tool cabinets, and transport equipment. The wheel is supported by a dry bearing bush that minimises maintenance requirements whilst maintaining reliable operation. The castor demonstrates impressive load-bearing capabilities, with a static load capacity of 250 kg and a dynamic load capacity of 125 kg at speeds up to 4 km/h, making it ideal for applications including container construction, fire protection systems, machine construction, post logistic systems, production trolleys, waste disposal equipment, and work benches.
