The Linea clinic is a swivel castor with central, total or directional lock, specifically engineered for demanding healthcare environments including hospital beds, anesthesia carts, medication carts, nursing carts, dialysis carts, stretchers, and various diagnostic equipment such as C-Arms, CT scanners, MRI systems, X-ray machines, ultrasound units, and ventilators in hospitals and nursing facilities. The fitting comprises a stem with cam hole for profile bars in short version, with the important caveat that washable beds must be sealed in the fitting area by the hospital bed manufacturer to ensure hygiene and durability. The housing is constructed from polyamide material and incorporates a precision ball bearing for smooth swivel operation, ensuring reliable manoeuvrability in clinical settings. The wheel features a 125 mm diameter and is equipped with a precision ball bearing in stainless steel, combined with an injected polyurethane tread that provides excellent grip and durability on various floor surfaces whilst minimising noise and vibration. The overall height of the castor is 150 mm, making it suitable for integration into standard hospital equipment configurations. The load capacity specifications indicate a static load rating of 300 kg, whilst the dynamic load capacity is rated at 150 kg at speeds up to 4 km/h and 150 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h, providing reliable performance across typical clinical mobility requirements and ensuring safe operation in fast-paced healthcare environments.
