The Zeta reverse is a swivel castor with spring loaded directional lock, designed for demanding industrial applications including airport equipment, automotive OEM, production and platform trolleys, and transport equipment. The castor is fitted with a medium rectangular plate that provides secure mounting to various equipment bases. The housing is constructed from very heavy steel sheet and incorporates two ball races, reinforced or stainless, to ensure reliable swivel performance and extended operational life. The wheel features a 250 mm diameter and is equipped with a precision ball bearing for smooth rotation and minimal friction. The wheel tread is manufactured from PUR casted premium material, offering excellent durability and grip characteristics, whilst the wheel body is constructed from aluminium to provide an optimal balance between strength and weight. The overall height of the castor assembly is 290 mm, making it suitable for integration into various equipment configurations. The castor demonstrates impressive load-bearing capabilities, with a static load capacity of 1600 kg. For dynamic applications, the castor supports loads of 640 kg at speeds up to 6 km/h and 800 kg at speeds up to 4 km/h, providing flexibility for different operational requirements. These specifications make the Zeta reverse an ideal solution for heavy-duty industrial environments requiring reliable directional control and substantial load-bearing performance.
