The Compacta swivel castor features a square plate fitting for secure mounting applications. The housing is constructed from light steel sheet material and incorporates a one ball race swivel bearing system for smooth directional movement. The wheel assembly comprises a polypropylene body with thermoplastic rubber tread material, providing excellent grip and floor protection, whilst utilising a plain bearing for reliable rotation. The wheel diameter measures 50mm, contributing to an overall height of 60mm for the complete castor unit. Load capacity specifications include a dynamic rating of 23kg at speeds up to 3km/h for mobile applications, and a static load capacity of 46kg when stationary, making this castor suitable for medium-duty industrial and commercial equipment requiring manoeuvrability and dependable performance in workshop and office environments.
