The Integral assist is a swivel castor with central, total or directional lock, specifically engineered for electromobility applications requiring reliable manoeuvrability and stability. This castor features a stem with cam hole for profile bars in short version, enabling secure attachment to various equipment frames. The wheel comprises a 150 mm diameter polyurethane tread that is casted for enhanced durability and consistent performance, whilst the body is constructed from steel and iron to ensure robust load-bearing capacity. This castor is ideally suited for deployment across diverse healthcare environments, including hospitals, nursing and retirement homes, where it supports critical equipment such as anesthesia carts, medication carts, nursing carts, stretchers, dialysis carts, hospital beds, ventilators, ultrasound systems, and imaging equipment including C-Arms, CT scanners, MRI and X-Ray machines, as well as computers on wheels. The combination of directional locking mechanisms and durable materials ensures safe, controlled movement whilst maintaining stability during transport and positioning of sensitive medical equipment.
