The Compacta fixed castor is a robust mobility solution engineered for stationary and light-duty applications, featuring a rectangular plate fitting that ensures secure and straightforward installation onto equipment frames and bases. The housing is constructed from medium steel sheet, providing excellent durability and corrosion resistance whilst maintaining a lightweight profile suitable for industrial environments. The wheel assembly comprises a 25 mm diameter polyamide body with an identical tread material, ensuring consistent rolling characteristics and reliable performance across various floor surfaces. The wheel is supported by a plain bearing with spacer tube, which facilitates smooth rotation whilst minimising maintenance requirements and extending the operational lifespan of the castor. The overall height of the assembly measures 28 mm, making it ideal for applications where vertical space is constrained or where a low-profile design is advantageous. The Compacta castor is rated for a static load capacity of 50 kg, allowing it to support substantial equipment weight when stationary, whilst the dynamic load capacity reaches 25 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h, making it suitable for occasional manual movement of loaded equipment.
