The Alpha swivel castor is a robust industrial mobility solution engineered for demanding applications across automotive original equipment manufacturing, catering carts and meal delivery systems, container construction, electronic systems and clean-room technology, fire fighting technology and fire protection, machine construction, post logistic systems, production and platform trolleys, roll cages, tool cabinets, transport equipment, waste disposal equipment, and work benches. The castor is fitted with a small rectangular plate that provides secure mounting to host equipment and structures. The housing is constructed from heavy steel sheet, ensuring exceptional durability and structural integrity, whilst the swivel mechanism incorporates two ball races that enable smooth, reliable rotation and directional control. The wheel features an 80 millimetre diameter and is manufactured from plastic thermoset material that is heat-resistant, with the tread material being identical to the wheel body for consistent performance and wear characteristics. The overall height of the assembled castor measures 108 millimetres, providing a compact profile suitable for space-constrained installations. The castor demonstrates impressive load-bearing capabilities, with a static load capacity of 200 kilogrammes and a dynamic load capacity of 100 kilogrammes at speeds up to 4 kilometres per hour. The wheel is equipped with a dry bearing bush that minimises maintenance requirements whilst delivering reliable rotational performance in diverse operational environments.
