The Linea clinic is a swivel castor with central, total or directional lock, specifically engineered for demanding healthcare environments including hospital beds, anesthesia carts, medication carts, nursing carts, dialysis carts, stretchers, and various medical imaging equipment such as C-Arms, CT scanners, MRI and X-Ray systems, as well as computers on wheels and ventilators in hospitals and nursing and retirement homes. The fitting comprises a stem with cam hole for profile bars in short version, with the important caveat that washable beds must be sealed in the fitting area by the hospital bed manufacturer to ensure hygiene and durability. The housing is constructed from polyamide material and incorporates a precision ball bearing for the swivel mechanism, ensuring smooth rotation and reliable performance under continuous use. The wheel features a 125 mm diameter and is equipped with a precision ball bearing in stainless steel, whilst the tread is manufactured from injected polyurethane, providing excellent grip, durability and resistance to wear in clinical settings. The overall height of the castor is 150 mm, making it suitable for integration into standard medical equipment platforms. The load capacity specifications are as follows: static load capacity of 300 kg, and dynamic load capacity of 150 kg at speeds up to 4 km/h in one direction and 150 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h in alternative directions, ensuring safe operation across a comprehensive range of medical applications and clinical workflows.
